JABC is pleased to invite you and your students to participate in JABC TechWorks 2022-2023 Virtual. It is open to all high school students in Western Canada and aligns with Alberta's
curriculum to support CTS, CALM and more.
This program is free-of-charge.
This school year, our online version of JA TechWorks will be offered in March as a multi-day conference. This provides students with ample opportunity to explore a variety of career paths through online resources - both live and on- demand. Students can explore on their own devices or in groups. Now in it's seventh year, JA TechWorks is a technology career conference for high school students. Available both virtually and in-person, JA TechWorks is a forum for youth to explore technology and technology-related careers and understand the education, skills and mindset needed to ensure they are tech-enabled and qualify for tech-related jobs.
During the 2021-22 school year, over 5,500 youth in urban, rural and Indigenous communities across B.C. participated in JA TechWorks. Students had a chance to hear from and connect with companies such as BestBuy, Amazon, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Teck, TELUS, Accenture and so many more.
